We regret to inform you the credit card payment option continues to be unavailable at present. Our objective remains to resolve this issue as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience the temporary service interruption may have caused, and thank you for the patience and understanding you have demonstrated up to date.

Our team is working diligently to resolve the issue, so Visa and Master Card payments made through our ‘Send Money’ feature or through the checkout on a participating merchant's website can be processed. We are determined to provide a solution as soon as possible. .

How can you make payments through AlertPay now?
You can make payments using an American Express credit card, or fund your AlertPay balance to make an e-wallet payment.

In order to fund your AlertPay account and make an e-Wallet transaction please follow these steps:
1. Login to your AlertPay account.
2. Click on the ’Deposit’ tab.
3. Select the ‘Bank Wire’ option.
4. Enter the amount you wish to deposit.
5. Ensure the ‘Total amount deposited’ displayed on the screen is correct and click on the orange ‘Deposit’ button.
6. Follow the bank wire instructions displayed on the screen.

Please note: If you make an error, click on the orange ‘Cancel transaction’ button at the bottom of the screen and restart the process.

As soon as we have good news to share we will post another blog. Also, stay up to date on the latest AlertPay news by following us on Facebook and Twitter! Please bear with us.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding!
The AlertPay team

--Update: As of today, November 11, 2011, there has been no change to the status reported below. We hope to have good news to share next week. Stay tuned for weekly updates.--

Although VISA and MasterCard processing will not be available as soon as we predicted, we are ensuring that when the service is operational there will be no issues or service disruptions. This week, our team has been devoted to exploring the terms of our new partnerships with leading payment processors. Negotiations are ongoing, but rest assured, progress is being made. The fact of the matter is that we are committed to doing things right and resolving things once and for all.
At AlertPay, we believe in coming up with solid solutions, not in patching holes. This is why we are taking our efforts to the next level, to ensure that when VISA and MasterCard processing is available, our processor partner integrates seamlessly with our platform, and with our members’ needs.
As we are dealing with third parties, we cannot provide an exact time frame for when VISA and MasterCard processing services will be fully operational. With that said, we do promise that we are working tirelessly to provide our members with the most swift and seamless solution possible. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this service outage is causing. In the meantime, we urge you to explore the other payment options we offer.
